Today, we decided to get some baking done using a chocolate brownies recipe from Annabel Karmel‘s First Meals. We rebel out of the recipe for a little bit by trying out different kinds of chocolates (e.g., 60% cocoa, dark cocoa, etc). I think in the future I would like to try those chocolates bars with orange filling on it or put an orange zest into our mix.
The scene was quite chaotic with the chocolate and butter melting all over the place, creating a messy yet captivating situation. The cocoa powder seemed to have found its way into every nook and cranny, adding to the commotion. Despite the mess, the delightful aroma of melting chocolate and butter filled the air, drawing the attention of our curious little one. The combination of the mess and the enticing scent seemed to create a sort of mesmerizing spectacle for our toddler, turning an otherwise messy situation into a memorable moment of wonder and discovery.
After an hour we have a yummy chocolate brownies that lasted for two days.
