Cris A. Lyn

Hey! I’m Cris A. Lyn, I Started This Blog Sometime In 2017 As An Interesting Means Of Noting and Journaling our Homeschool Journey.

Several years ago, my husband and I decided to homeschool our kids. Like most of you, it was a very emotional and scary decision. The resources about homeschooling were scarce back then. Our support is limited to the curriculum providers which is most of the time not sufficient for our needs. Our fear and lack of support made us go back and forth Plan A (homeschool) and Plan B (sending our kids back to regular school). At last, after serveral ‘aha moments‘ we started making breakthrough after breakthrough until our homeschool started to transform to a lifetime learning lifestyle. Like a flood gate opening, we started meeting other families that are homeschooling, getting more support about homeschooling, and other help started to flow through. Finally, our kids made the plea that they preferred to be homeschooled. We are now into our 8th year (Y2024) of full-time homeschooling, and counting. Throughout the years, this blog has been evolving as a magazine. The term “domination” resonates a lot since we started to dream and aspire bigger into our learning journey.

Thank you for joining us to this learning journey.

Our Weekly Learning Blog To Inspire And
Get You Motivated!

Our students are thriving and our Weekly Learning Blogs serves as a space where homeschool students take the lead in sharing their learning journeys, ideas, and experiences. Each week, you’ll hear directly from students who are diving deep into their unique interests, exploring real-world topics, building skills that matter, and finding creative ways to make learning come alive. Whether it’s a reflection on a science experiment, a story about building a passion project, or tips for staying motivated, these blogs are full of honest insights and fresh perspectives from fellow homeschoolers.

This section is more than just a collection of student writing – it’s a celebration of curiosity, growth, and self-driven education. Our goal is to inspire and connect learners of all ages by showing what’s possible when students take ownership of their learning. No matter where you are on your homeschool journey, we hope these weekly posts will spark ideas, encourage bold thinking, and remind you that learning is a powerful, personal, and lifelong adventure.

Our Vision and Mission

Our Vision

To redefine homeschooling for the tween and teen years by cultivating purpose-driven learners equipped with real-world skills, mental toughness, and the mindset to lead in life—not just succeed in school.

Our Vision

To empower homeschooling families with modern tools, inspiring stories, and practical strategies that help teens master life skills, pursue excellence in sports and academics, and grow into confident, capable leaders.

Our Core Values

Lifelong Learning

We never stop growing and learning. We value curiosity, self-discipline, and the freedom to pursue knowledge that matters in life.

Real-World Readiness

Education must prepare teens for life—not just tests. We focus on skills like financial literacy, time management, entrepreneurship, and grit.

Purpose-Driven Learning

Learning should be aligned with who you are and where you’re going. We help students discover and pursue their unique purpose.

Grit, and Growth

We believe in mental toughness, resilience, and the courage to take on hard things. Failure is a step forward, not a stop sign.

Independent Thinking

We raise leaders, not followers. We encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and making thoughtful decisions in a noisy world.

Family-Led Freedom

Parents are the leaders of learning. They are coaches and mentors, too. We believe in flexible, values-based homeschooling that adapts to a teen’s changing needs.

Excellence thru Effort

We train for excellence in sports, academics, and life through hard work—knowing greatness is earned, not given.

Future Minded Impact

We aim to raise teens who will lead, build, and give back. Our education is a launch pad for creating real change in the world.
