Try it Together
1. Choose a simple recipe (cookies, muffins, banana bread, etc.).
2. Assign roles: reader, measurer, mixer, timer, cleaner.
3. As you go, pause and ask:
-> Why do we use baking soda?
-> What happens when you overmix?
-> What’s a substitute for butter?
Optional twist: Bake two versions—one with a change (like no egg or half the sugar). Compare the results!
